World War Z: Zombie Mocktail

Year Released: 2013
Directed by: Marc Forster
Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos, Daniella Kertesz
(PG-13, 115 min.)

This movie grabs you by the throat and bites you in the neck. World War Z drops you in the middle of an apocalyptic panic on a quest to find the cure for the ultimate sickness. Just sit back and watch the extravagant special effects and drama of the first zombie war. With its bloodied undead and graphic explosions this is definitely a movie worth watching.

Junior Critic – The Next Generation: Triston
Bio:  Triston is 15 years old and lives in rural Illinois where he helps train champion Labrador Retrievers with his father.  He is active in the Illinois Pioneer Chapter of Pheasants Forever, a habitat conservation organization.

An avid reader, Triston loves futuristic science fiction/horror, such as World War Z and The Hunger Games.  And he loves to see what Hollywood does to his favorite fiction.

Have you ever thought that being sick could be better than being healthy? Well, in the movie World War Z it is an advantage to be sick rather than healthy. In this movie, strange things start to happen around a family living in New York City. The infected, otherwise known as zombies, attack and bite others to spread their nasty disease. The family decides to go to a military aircraft carrier to pursue the cure. The search leads them all the way to a research facility in the wilderness of Russia. I wont give the ending away, but it is a nail-biting thriller to the end.

Junior Critic – The Next Generation: Austin
Bio:  Austin is 15 years old and lives in Wisconsin, where he is active in ice hockey, fishing, and water sports.  In addition to kayaking and canoeing, he is now trying his hand at rowing a scull, a competitive racing boat.

Austin loves action movies and thrillers, the scarier the better.
